 My teaching experience has centered on social work education at Middle Tennessee State University, where I have taught across the undergraduate and graduate curricula. My approach focuses on connecting what students learn in the classroom to what they will actually encounter in practice. I have also developed new online courses, incorporated experiential learning, and created applied assignments that challenge students to move beyond simply knowing the material to understanding what they will do with it.
